‘PETE’ – “FORT”, Is a collective marketplace as a source for the city. The design of the K.R. MARKET is a complex solution connecting lost culture and restoring its existing HERITAGE FORTIFIED with strategies distributing the user flow Segregating spaces with essential functionalities to accommodate floating populations of 2-3 million per day.

By blending into the crumbling masses of the old market structure, the design emphasizes the "CULTURAL HERITAGE" of the area. Using the selection of materiality for different roles to provide a distinctive feeling of subconscious direction (Ease of identification). By constructing pavilions and extended arches made of red sandstone that resemble the existing historical building, the HISTORIC CHARACTER IS HIGHLIGHTED
