A pavilion that is positioned to benefit from the eastern winds. The DYNAMIC BANDS looping around the building is a concept created along the increase in a RAPID SWELL OF A WAVEFORM elevating the competitive atmosphere of the gaming arena.
Performative Architecture
The PERFORMATIVE ARCHITECTURE Studio's design challenge was to develop a reactive façade system for a gaming arena on a small site that would stand out as a landmark structure in relation to its surrounding site context. This system would respond to the local climate and emphasize the façade's practical functionality.
